Our daughters at the Enchanted Garden Restaurant on the Disney Dream
My family and I have been vegan for about a month or so. I was a little worried that we would have a difficult time eating delicious fare on the Disney Dream, but since I have visited Disney World several times on blogger trips I knew that Disney is very accommodating with special food needs. I was extremely pleased by the food we were able to eat during our days on the Disney Dream. All of our servers were extremely accommodating to our vegan needs and made our meals real highlights of our trip.
On the first night we ate at Animator’s Palate, a Nemo-themed restaurant. Unfortunately we didn’t take photos of our vegan meal (Black Bean Chipotle Cakes Over Corn Kernals and Brown Rice Topped with Tomato Cilantro Sauce) because we forgot the camera. But the next night, we made sure to snap photos of everything we ate.
At the Enchanted Garden, they specially made vegan bread for us. We also had garden salads with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
We also had a chick pea and garlic spread for our bread. It was so delicious I could eat just that!
We were also brought a plate of Golden and Red Beet Carpaccio. My oldest daughter is a beet fan and absolutely adored this dish.
My husband and oldest daughter ate Pearl Barley Cakes with Shallots, Leeks, and Rosemary. They loved it.
My youngest daughter and I had the Glazed Portobello Mushrooms with Brown Lentil and Parsley Sauce and Sun-Dried Tomato Drizzle. I hope no one watched me eat this meal. It was so good I probably embarrassed myself.
For dessert, we had a few scoops of Rice Dream ice cream with fresh berries. Yum! And the chef made mango and passion fruit squares.
I also want to mention that when we were on Castaway Cay our head server pre-ordered a delicious Caribbean vegetable stir fry with tofu dish that we could eat while on the island. We didn’t have to rely on french fries! Thank goodness!
And for breakfast before we left the Disney Dream we had vegetable stuffed tortillas with guacamole and salsa. Heaven!

That’s great to know that Disney is accommodating as my son has food allergies. We’ll be visiting in March! : )

Did you find rice milk to be easy to get? My son can’t handle soy
