By moms. For moms.
No judgment, just help.
The Mom Salon started because we were tired of generic self-care advice that doesn't account for the reality of motherhood. "Just take a bath" is great advice if someone else is handling bedtime. "Book a spa day" works if you have a full day to spare. Most moms don't.
We write guides that work for real life — the life where you have 30 minutes between school pickup and soccer practice, where "me time" happens after 9 PM, and where the guilt of doing something for yourself is sometimes louder than the desire to do it.
What We Believe
- Self-care isn't selfish. It's necessary. A burned-out mom helps no one.
- Small is better than nothing. A 20-minute express mani counts. A 5-minute face mask counts. Drinking your coffee while it's still hot counts.
- Tools should save you time, not add complexity. Online booking, family calendars, subscription boxes — use technology to remove friction, not add it.
- Every mom's situation is different. Single mom, working mom, stay-at-home mom, mom of one, mom of four — our advice has to flex.
